I really enjoyed this beer. It has a nice color (what I could see I was in the Catacombs) and an excellent malty, sweet aroma. The beer goes down on the sweet/malty side with a nice fruitiness. There is little to no hoppiness.
Drank this beer as part of the sampler and got a growler fill of it to go.

Jun 17, 2004 A good scotch ale - nice dark brown color - thin head with light lacing. Fairly robust malts with a hint of smokiness. Slightly grainy with a hint of hops at the finish.
