Golden colour with a white head that disappears quickly. Grassy and malty aroma. A slightly sweet malty taste with a thin body and a sweet aftertaste with not much bitterness.

Bottle. Sugary malts, which makes it simply too sweet. Bread, cereal, corn, all your macro lager traits. Some credit for being darker than your typical pale lager, but I can’t imagine having more than a couple due to the sweetness.

33cl bottle pours with a crystal clear deep gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The modest aroma is pretty sweet and emits malts, hay like notes and table sugar. The taste starts with sugar sweetness and is lightened up by carbonation that enhances a vague hop bitterness. It gets a little grainy here and there. Into the finish it actually has a bit of a hop bite that keeps the sweetness in check. Not something I would seek out or even try again but this seems to be drinkable.

Jado (249) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - APR 11, 2013
From 350 ml bottle, sold as Bucanero Fuerte. Looks good - clear amber with a tight white head and a tight white head. Very little on the nose, light grain and a bit of noble hop aroma. Taste however is not bad, slightly sweet, with some grass/hay and a bit of fruit (apple maybe) at the end. Very clean finish. Refreshing and not too bad for what it is.

355ml can. Clear golden body, medium white head, ok retention for a lager. Aroma of grains, honey, hay, metallic notes. Taste of sweet malts, hay, grains, corn and again metallic notes. Too carbonated.
