Dark golden colour. Aroma is very sweet. Flavour is also sweet and malty. Feels like it has a bit of a syrupy edge to it.

Shameless option for a Cuban beer at a "Cuban" restaurant at the Gold Coast, when I could have had a Mountain Goat. No worse than many other Aussie pale lagers on the menu, and no better. Just cloying, syrupy, very malty, not enticing at all. Tick.

Flaska på karib. Den är ljus och rätt tunn. Inte så tung beska kan tänka mig att den är bra en varm sommardag. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A cuban beer? Tick, please! Don’t mind the clean dark golden body. The smell is... on the spirits side of a mass produced pilsner. Alcoholic and some rusty metal. Peppery, perhaps. Taste is sharp and alcohol, even at this abv, shines through. Boring, very boring taste. Sharp sparkles and beside some faint bitterness there is very little to it. Bleh. Ah well, the taste isn’t exactly what I got this beer for. Stupid me. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Can and bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. Not much aroma to speak of. Taste is, expectedly, of malt, hops and grain with a lot of alcohol in the finish. Very sweet and a bitter aftertaste. Cheap and good for getting drunk in the evenings, but that’s about it.

Aroma: very malty, bread, light caramel. Appearance: clear gold, medium frothy head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: light bitters coming up, but sweets persist, medium carbonation. Overall: boring Lager, but very drinkable in the Cuban heat. Bottle from Wittich Weine, Switzerland.
