Bottle @ ChristianScheffel tasting. [thank you, BeerBiker]
Pours a lightly pale golden with an okay small creamy white head. Aroma is sweet with hay and barn coming through. There is a touch of caramel as well. Nice, round mouthfeel. Flavour is generally sweet with a slight grassy/citric bitterness at the end. Okay Pilsner.

Best beer I drank in Cuba, but that doesn’t say much. I mean its light and refreshing, just what you need in the south! Clear golden, fizzy, and dry. That’s it.

Light straw color with a thin white head. a touch of hops in the boquet, but not much. Thin fizzy, adjuncted flavor, sweet, but not malty. Might be good sitting on a beach in Veradaro, but thats about it.

Huh. Reading the comments of others makes me wonder if we’re all drinking the same beer. I had this out of a 12oz bottle in the Bahamas. It had a strong, malty nose with a touch corn. The taste was of smoky malt, making me think of cask aged brews I’ve tried. not a great beer, but not bad by any means.
