Golden color, white head. Light malt aroma, bit of citrus. Light malt flavor, not much else going on. Light body. Inoffensive, but still a typical Caribbean lager.

Bottle. Light golden, small and fully diminishing head. Light, malty – some corn and lightly sweetish aroma. Body is light, malty – some corn and lightly sweetish flavor, some alcohol. Finish is short, malty – some corn and dryish, alcohol, faint grassy hoppyness. Watery lager, too much alcohol considering the body.

Taste his one a couple of years ago: Bottled. Pours clear golden with a medium sized, white head. Nose with caramel notes. Flavour of grain and caramel + hoppy notes. Light to mediumbodied, watery/ creamy texture and softcarbonation.The finish is more dry and with a tiny bitterness. What to say?

This poureed a golden color with a white head. Aroma was mostly grassy and some pale malt and adjuncts. Flavor was much the same, grassy, stalte hops and corny malt.

Bottle. Copper coloured beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is lightly hopped and dry, and the flavour is bitter and fairly malty and caramel. Overall not as bad as the overall rating suggests.

Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is light malt and light DMS. Flavour is light malt, sweet notes, light hay and light pine.

Pours a clear and yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is malt and DMS. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is dry with notes of sweetness. Overall a boring beer.

12oz can @RBSG shared by -pours a thin white head and yellow color. Aroma is grain. Taste is grain/corn, hint of hops. Not bad.

Golden body, white head. Aroma of malt, grass, lemon hop. Malty toast, light burned malt, paper. Easy to drink, no specific taste.

Recht wässrig ist das Bier im ersten Eindruck, besser wird es später auch nicht. Ein leicht getreidiges Aroma meldet sich dann immerhin im Mittelteil, weiterhin wässrig. Leicht malzig wird es im Nachgeschmack, dieses Aroma wird sogar noch etwas kräftiger. Dennoch ist das Bucanero insgesamt recht dünn, auch wenn es mit der Zeit kräftiger wird. Unter der Palme vielleicht, im kühlen Deutschland höchstens Mittelmaß.
