A yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of corn, and so is the flavor, though in the flavor there are also traces of hops.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2005 (Bottle 35 cl) Nice pilsener golden with a fairly decent and very white head. If I read the back label correctly one could get the notion that there’s more corn than barley in this. But I don’t get the chicken-fodderish feeling here as most often with beers of high corn-content. Actually a very straight and hoppy lager. Comes in a stylish longneck bottle. 290305

Bottle. Clear piss yellow with no head. Sweet malty - some perfume. Watery palate. Barely drinkable. People at the tasting found this one quite drinkable.. perhaps one of the better 15 pilsners/lagers, but that says more about the quality of the rest of the beers!

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2006 Full gold colour. Aroma mixes malts, grains and alcohol. Flavour does much the same. The body is big for style and there is a slight hint of hop spiciness to balance off a slight alcoholic firmness in the finish. More flavour and better balance than most macro lagers I’ve had, which allowed it to stand up to nearly 100 cans in my two weeks in Cuba. Near flawless construction - folks who think Budweiser is well made could learn from tasting around the world.
