No me gusto para nada!! Sabe a lata oxidada, hay que acompañar esta cerveza con algun piqueo de sabor EXTRA fuerte para que no se sienta el sabor :S

couleur dorée, mousse qui disparaît. Nez malté sucré. Gout malt sucré, a peine houblonné, note papier.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
0,35 l bottle from a local shop. Cubanero label. Clear golden in the glass, mid carbonation, short living white head. Like an old dish sponge on the nose. Starts smooth, little bit citrus. Nothing more. Who is responsible for shipping this lame stuff over the Atlantic? Nobody needs it and certainly not overpriced like this.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle). Aroma and taste of some sweet malt, grass and hops. Dry bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink, and surprisingly balanced in its simplicity, no sour and unpleasant aromas in the taste.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
355 ml can via P-Money. Pours a clear, light golden yellow with a large (but short-lived), even, white head. Aromas are sweet malts and corn. Tastes are heavily sweet corn/malt, no bitterness present. Light body, sort of syrupy, short grainy finish. Cuban reform must start with beer!!

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Just another lager without anithing to comment. The same old beer than thousand brands that don’t offer any plus.
If you go to Cuba, better a mojito!

330 ml bottle. Golden with white head
Aroma of cardboard and malt sugars. Taste is watery, pale malt, some sweetness and cardboard. Meh.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Had this as the most prominent alternative to Palma Cristal in and around Cuba back in 2001, but its availability was limited, probably as it was certainly a lesser lager than the aforementioned.

330ml bottle from Stewarts Wine Company. Rating from late 2013. Best thing about this beer is the label.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled, 330ml as Cubanero Fuerte Cerveza at The Hand in Hand, Brighton Kemptown. Yellow gold with fizzed white head. Ok, unashamed ticking here, this is a corn like, grainy beer, sweetish, watery. Unlikely ever to re rate. Poor.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
As Cubanero Fuerte:
Appearance: Clear golden, some white head.
Aroma: Sweet, malt, grains.
Taste: Sweet, grains, malts, slight metal. Nope, but would maybe be acceptable on a Varadero beach.
Bought: Drinks of the World (Basel), 350 ml, CHF 3.70
