COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ales were stronger, hoppier beers brewed to survive the long ship voyage to supply the British troops in India. Our version is deep copper in color, with nutty comma, toasty malt flavors, assertive bitterness, and a spicy, floral hop aroma.

Citrusy and herbal aroma, hint of fresh mown hay. Nice copper color, slight haze, thick white head. Good, full body with noticeable alcohol, some nutty and caramel malt flavors and nicely balanced sweetness. Lots of hop flavor and bitterness, but very smooth. No harsh edges or turpentine flavor. An excellent and very drinkable IPA

Are you kidding me, only 6 ratings. Thank you John. The can pours mildly hazy copper with thin tan head. The aroma is hoppy with spicy hops, some pine hops and perfumy floral-ness too. The taste is perfumy floral perfume department store fragrance counter as well as pine hops and some malts that do not help in tempering the bruising perfumy floral onslaught. Wow! All that floral pedal – fragrance counter notes made 2 ounces a bit of a chore to finish. Interesting for sure.

Thanks to the Tampa Crew for this one. Pours orange-copper with a white head. Nose is some malt, aspirin, grain, dirt, and some slight;y sour citrus. Flavor is similar. Medium bodied IPA.

Can opened at Tampa weekly tasting. pours orange straw, white head. Aroma and flavors, mild hops, dry grainy mouthfeel and malts finish with a touch of citrus. Basic IPA, notes of caramel malts and a nice aromatic citrus profile.

Sampled at Beerhawk’s Beer Gods in the Boro, aka 1000 Bottles of Beer on the Wall, By God Beer God Gathering, BG1K Tasting. Hazy amber pour. Malty backbone with a pleasant hop profile. Definitely agree with the ’hopped up hefewiezen’ comparison. Not bad. Love the name too.

Can shared by decaturstevo. Pour a darker amber with a one finger tall off-white head. Aromas of pine with a caramel malt background and a light hint of clove. The flavor found wheat and clove and a very low hop presents. Medium body and a very light bitterness.

BeerHawk’s Beer Gods in the Boro, aka 1000 Bottles of Beer on the Wall, By God Beer God Gathering, BG1K Tasting. Sample from a can thanks to decaturstevo. Dark amber red with a thick off white head. Strange hop aroma profile, almost clove like. some caramel malt and fruit aromas. Taste is even weirder. Clove, pine, citrus meld together, tastes almost like a hopped up hefeweizen, but here the spice is coming from the hops not any coriander. Over a body of toasted caramel or toffee.

A very unusual beer in that the hops just did not seem to be for an ipa. This beer was an amber pour with yellow head and lace. A very large hop aroma just not the pine or citrus I expected. Sweet malt with a decent evergreen like bitter finish. Not over powering but there. Medium bodied with light soft carbonation. A solid beer just not your standard ipa. After this rating I found out what the hop profile was and I could better understand the beer. Not your fathers ipa.
