Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Can. An unclear dark brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of sweet malt as well as lighter notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Canned@SBWF2010. Hazy brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild rye bread, some toffee and chocolate. Flavour is liquorice, toffee, some ryebread and mild acidicness as well.

Canned at Stockholm Beer Festival. Dark brown, small head. Caramelly with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Some earthiness and roastiness. Low bitterness. Pleasant but superficial.

Can, courtesy of Papsoe. It pours a clear, dark brown body under a small, beige head. Dried fruits, roasted malts and some wet cardboard in the aroma. Sweet, chocolate flavor with some roasted malts, and a roasted bitterness towards the end. The finish is a bit more coffeeish in the bitterness. Medium body, sweetish, with a nice carbonation. A quite decent and drinkable beer, but nothing more than that. (090514)
