COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Orange Blossom Ale. Inspired by the rich fragnance of blooming orange groves, this copper colored ale combines the flavor and aroma of real orange tree flowers with a well balanced, full flavored ale to produce a real treat for the senses. Munich and light Caramel malts produce a smooth, creamy malt complexity, and American hops give the beer a bright, refreshing bitterness and dry finish. The orange blossom aroma blends superbly with the other beer flavors, providing a unique dimension that is the perfect complement to tangy, herbal or spicy foods, soft cheeses or pastries.

The aroma and appearance skew this rating. Aroma has quite a bit of orange zest. The head tastes awful on this. The flavor is also not so good. A lot of orange in a carbonated way. Couldn’t drink a half can.

A soft artificial orange aroma atop some very drinkable, malty light ale. Had a little bit of crusty bread going on, with a layer of orange marmalade. I think it would be better served cold, as it would make it more refreshing.

Can. Slightly hazy orange-amber with a small white head. Aroma of orange popsicle and mild caramel malt with a hint of hops. Medium bodied. Fresh tasting, with notes of orange water, floral tea, sweet malt and mild herbal hops with a refreshingly dry finish. A nice, fresh, summery ale.

Thanks to decaturstevo for sharing this one. Clear dark yellow body with a small white head. The aroma was very weak, but was sweet and fruity. The flavor is very weak, slightly sweet, with a metallic finish. I’ll pass to the next one please.

An orange color with a white head. The aroma was oranges with some corn present as well. The flavor is barely present with some orange peel. Overall this was nothing awful but extremely boring.

16 oz can from jcwattsrugger, who was kind enough to let me have it after the Richmond Summer Gathering. Lightly hazed orange amber with a thin, fizzy white head. Sweet caramel nose, rather spicy, with a decent fresh orange tone. Medium body. Tangy spiced flavor, light orange and caramel. Finishes clean and lightly dry with a floral bite. A damn fine session beer.

From one of Buckbean’s 16 oz. cans, it looks slick with it’s bright orange label. The body was deep copper with an off white head. The aroma was definite oranges with some flowers and caramel. The taste was bitter bread crust with earthy oranges. There was also some toffee and green tea. A decent fruity type beer others would probably like more than me.
