COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Orange Blossom Ale. Inspired by the rich fragnance of blooming orange groves, this copper colored ale combines the flavor and aroma of real orange tree flowers with a well balanced, full flavored ale to produce a real treat for the senses. Munich and light Caramel malts produce a smooth, creamy malt complexity, and American hops give the beer a bright, refreshing bitterness and dry finish. The orange blossom aroma blends superbly with the other beer flavors, providing a unique dimension that is the perfect complement to tangy, herbal or spicy foods, soft cheeses or pastries.

Not one of my favorites. For some reason I just can’t get past the flavor. Appearance is good. I had this on tap at the brewery.

[Can] Dark golden in color with a very fizzy soda-like head. Sweet aroma of oranges, cleaning products and clover honey. The flavor was heavy on the orange with wheat and other thin malts. Seemed to me like a blonde ale with added orange flavor. Thin mouthfeel. Honestly, it’s not as terrible as it sounds. Quite drinkable, but it gets pretty sweet towards the end. Wouldn’t be a bad lawnmower beer.

Bottle; poured an orange-copper color with a medium sized, fizzy head. Aroma of orange blossom, zest, perfume, and fruit. Flavor was definitely not as exuberant as the aroma. Somewhat muddied and confused. Lingering orange flavor. Caramel and bread and fruit prior. Wierd at times, but ok.

(16oz can). Pours a hazy amber color with 1 finger chunky off-white head. Aroma have lots of perfumey notes with a bit of light fresh orange. Taste follows suit with a non-descript malt backbone yet that perfume taste is there followed with a slight hop bitterness. Medium bodied with an oily texture. As I drink more I am reminded of orange blossoms and that’s the key here. This is not like Papago’s creamsickle-like orange blossom wheat beer. This is more about the flower and the beer seems as if it was steeped with orange blossoms as if it were a tea. Having said that, I don’t really like this beer, but I get what they were trying to do and maybe they were even successful. I now know its not a flavor I like in beer.

Yellow pour. Perfume, oranges, more perfume, sandalwood aroma. Flavor is like sandalwood, light citrus, hops...yucky.

Big on the orange man. Aroma, flavor, it’s everywhere. Good bittering on the mid to finale. Very fresh tasting. Not my dram of scotch.

Can pours hazy orange with a light orange/khaki head. Aroma shows primarily floral with notes of orange blossom. Doug mentioned that what makes them different from everyone else is their use of actual orange blossom petals versus others who use orange blossom honey. It definately shows! Flavor has a dry wheat background with very dominate orange floral qualities as well as a touch of (lavender?). Overall body is light and finishes with light bitterness.

Pours straight up like an orange soda with a medium white head. The aroma is orange floor cleaner and funky wheat. The taste is beyond bad. Bitter orange peel, with thin carbonated water and a nasty funk one needs to taste and cannot be properly described in words. I like the idea but it’s really poorly executed unfortunately.

16oz can. Rating #76. Hazy dark orange color with a creamy off white head. Light citrus and a sweet spice aroma, I want to say allspice or something like that, very interesting. Metallic and kind of sour, plastic band-aid as well. (1510)

Can from Frugal McDoogal. Pours an orange amber with a slight haze and an ivory head. Floral and orange perfumy aroma, almost like air freshener. Lighter side of medium bodied with average carbonation and slight creaminess to the texture. Flavor of pale caramel malts, orange, and flower petals countered by a moderate herbal bitterness that carries through to the finish. Sweetness is not overdone. Different, but not terrible. Kudos for being unique.
