Can from BoE. Orange gold colour with a white head. Delicate orange blossom waft in the malty aroma is the best thing about this beer. The taste is rather odd. there’s the same very gentle orange taste, but also a rather heavy, dusty sour aspirin flavour that I didn’t particularly like. Some bitterness.

TOTALLY SURPRISED!! I went and did a tasting at Buckbean and got free samples of all their beers on tap. I was not even going to try this beer because I do not like orange flavors, but the nice gal behind the bar convinced me to try it. She told me that it is NOT a fruit beer, but has orange blossoms in the beer that paired with hops. That intrigued me. My first couple of sips was had too much aroma, but after that, I started to really dig this beer. I ended buying a 4-pack and had some Thai food with it (Buckbean suggestion) and was absolutely blown away. What a great food pairing. Now that I have had a couple of these, I could see pairing food with this all the time and enjoying this brew on hot days. It is really good and for those that are afraid to try it, open you mind to this unique beer. I was told there is no other beer in the world that uses orange blossoms. My wife loved it too and she is not much of a beer gal.

16 oz pint can from my Winter 2010 Secret Santa. Pour is a slight haze orange golden with a big four inch egg white head. Head is lasting, eventually falls with decent lacing. Aroma is slight bitter honey, along with dull orange peel. As it warms, a bit of toasty malt comes out. Taste is the mildly bitter honey and orange, I like the taste more than the nose - not overly sweet, just mild and integrated with the toast malt. Palate is thin to medium bodied, dries out with nice mineral in the finish. Easy drinking, thanks Santa.

Canned at Stockholm Beer and Whisky Festival 2010. Hazy amber color. Sweet orange lemonade and vanilla aroma. Orangey flavor with maltiness and metal. There is something tart or sour which reminds me of pickled vegetables.

[500ml can courtesy of cgarvieuk] Clear orange pour with a decent head. Extremely perfumey aroma, and also taste. Verges on the unpleasant with the chemical finish. Like chewing a toilet cleaning block. Soapy and not enjoyable at all [14112010]
