Can, courtesy jcwattsrugger. Orange pour, copper, thin white head and lacing. Nose is spicy, with citrus, honey and some cinnamon. Flavor is orange and other citrus, honey, some neat berries. Thin and drinkable, simplistic but solid.

16 oz can. Oooh my, high alky aroma.Smells more like a 8% malt liquor. Looks quite orange with a decent head. Taste is better than it smells fer sure, I was expecting some kinda alky kit lager thing but this is not too bad initially. Creamy on the tongue, decent sizzling co2. Taste is quite unique, it does have some fruit in there and I do think its orange but not really citrus. Adds a little tartness to ti which helps it come along. Not bad in taste but probably couldn’t do more than a couple of these before the thing gets yah.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 PorterPounder (4107) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2012
Tampa, Fl - Total Wine - 16 oz can. Pours a peachy-orange with a tight white head. Artificial orange aroma - akin to citrus scented cleanser. Flavor is artificial and cloying. Cheap orange flavored hard candy comes to mind, and the flavor that sticks in your mouth when you drink orange juice after brushing your teeth. Mouthfeel coats your mouth in an an oh-so unsatisfactory fashion. Stay away.

I didn’t think it was possible but if surprise is the spice of life then this brew added spice - though an unwelcome variety. Saw this at State Line Liquors in Elkton, MD during a craft beer pilgrimage and I was happy to pick up a 4 pack of cans because I hadn’t had a craft beer from Nevada. Should have only purchased 1 can that way I’d only have to pour a half can away rather 3 full cans.
Right out of the gate it smells awful. Not a spoiled beer kind of awful either. Gasoline, ammonia and VERY fake orange zest. Pour is OK - hazy orange amber with a short dusky white head. All downhill from there. Tastes like an Orange Glo Cleaner Cocktail. Nothing redeeming about this beer. Surprised it didn’t eat through the bottom of the glass.
I’m not at all surprised to hear that Buckbean recently went beer belly up. With a flagship brew like this I’m shocked they ever got off the ground in the first place. Oh, back to that surprise: I’d much sooner grab an industrial macro lager than another of these.

Received in trade from mdaschaf, thanks for the opportunity.
I smell oranges as soon as I crack open the can. Pours out quite the hazy orange color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of citrus and orange with a sweet almost sugary malty background. Wow this has quite an odd flavor to it. Its almost like someone took an orange popsicle and mixed it in a thin amber ale. It’s heavy on the oranges for sure and there must be some malt in there somewhere. Bone dry finish with a fairly thin body. Moderate level of carbonation with a tart prickly mouthfeel. Well they get an A for being distinct, but this only worked for the first sip or two before I tired of it. I’m glad I got to try this.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 hayduke (2528) - Eureka, California, USA - DEC 15, 2011
Shared with Strykzone via facebook chat. This poured like "Orange Crush" soda with a small white head and not a lot of lacing. Nose is strong orange peel. Light in body and fizzy and carbonated mouthfeel, again like a soda pop. The flavor was one dimensional and mostly orange. While I seem to be knocking this beer it was surprisingly tasty and enjoyable. Go figure.

16 oz. can from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. The can looked like an orange soda can and the beer did, too. At least it did until the final drops of the pour when the sediment drained and the beer got much darker. A big beige head lasted nicely. The aroma was like Orange Crush soda with lots of orange. The flavor had orange, too, but it was more orange peel. I tasted some vegetable on occasion and it finished with some spicy mint from hops. Interesting and I kind of liked it.

This beer starts out pretty refreshing. Nice orange and floral hops in the aroma. Looks clean and crisp in appearance but slightly cloudy.
The taste. It starts off fairly well but rapidly gets old. Very one dimensional and the beer seems to become less appealing as it warms. The mouthfeel is a little light but seems appropriate for the style.
I only bought 1 16 oz can of this and am glad the have tried it but I probably won’t be going back to it anytime soon.

Thin white head that was short lived. Decent lace, lasting. Copper, prange color. Slight nose of citrus and some pale malts. Body is light with a tight carbonation, little oily, tangy. Slight orangey, dry malt flavors. Would be a swell crossover beer for a newby, maybe not. A little TOO friendly?? Lightly sweet finish, citrus and malts.Nice summer quaffer.Yal need to chill, K?Can from statelineliquors.

Light orange pour with a foamy head. Aroma of light malt and orange peel. Flavor is a decent lager with a bit of fruitiness on the finish. Okay.

Made a mistake when I first opened it - thought it was a draft can - had to wait for head to settle - but I was pleasantly surprised. Not too fruity tasting or smelling. Would love to float a Young’s double chocolate or left handed milk stout on top.
