Orange Blossom Ale. Inspired by the rich fragnance of blooming orange groves, this copper colored ale combines the flavor and aroma of real orange tree flowers with a well balanced, full flavored ale to produce a real treat for the senses. Munich and light Caramel malts produce a smooth, creamy malt complexity, and American hops give the beer a bright, refreshing bitterness and dry finish. The orange blossom aroma blends superbly with the other beer flavors, providing a unique dimension that is the perfect complement to tangy, herbal or spicy foods, soft cheeses or pastries.

Full review with photos, why cans are great, and links to other reivews can be found here -- http://beer47.com/2009/03/buckbean-original-oran review:----- Appearance. Orange Blossom Ale pours our of the can smoothly with a nice thick frothy head. The beer is coudy and has a color that is somewhere between dark honey and light amber.----- Smell. Upon opening the can, the smell is bready and yeasty but the bouquet becomes fruity and sweet-floral, like the scent of jasmine or orange blossom flowers. The floral bouquet is quite intense but in the background there is still a hint of malted grains, this is still a beer.----- Taste. Original Orange Blossom ale has a sweet honey maltiness without actually being sweet. There is a touch of hop bitterness making it crisp and clean coupled with a floral and fruity orange flavor.----- Mouthfeel. This beer is a light to medium bodied beer that goes down very smooth. For some reason, I feel that I want more carbonation.----- Drinkabil Original Orange Blossom Ale is highly drinkable and very refreshing.----- Serving type: can

Can from drowland. Light orange pour with little to no head. Aroma is funky orange and vanilla. Taste is kinda weird, fruity, and leather.

Can courtesy drowland. He sent this to me over 2 years ago, I let this beauty age in all it's glory. Pours a cloudy yellow orange color with a light bubbly white head. Lots of yeast chunks in this. Aroma is clay, orange kook-aid, sugar, and orange flavored bubble gum. Flavor is tart, grape juice pucker, citrus and gum. Yikes. Thanks Danny. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle thanks to Fratto. Very clear golden color, lots of bubbles. Smells sour, tastes sour. Not much orange flavor. Hm.

Can:   Pale caramel with a strong orange hue, thin sudsy white head, little lacing.   Orange popsicle nose... not joking.   Orange popsicle on the tongue.   Maybe a little of that orange creamsicle too.   Wow, I even get notes of that damn wood stick you lick to get each and every last drop.   Very light hops on the backside, orange creamsicle hops.   Average body and mouthfeel.   Finish is much the same... hmm...   Some citrus like bitterness on the backside, candyish citrus bitterness.   This is too much like an orange popsicle for me to take too seriously.   Not a fan of the liquid orange popsicle.

16 ounce can, poured an orange color, aromas of soome caramel, honey, and artificial oranges. Flavors are the same, mostly orange and honey, ok beer overall, however I dont know if this would be my go to beer.

Hazy orange amber beer, little white head. Light crisp palate. Creamy malt supports tart bitter orange and peel. Finishes a little over dry but thatís okay because I was expecting a sweet mess here! But itís tart, crisp and refreshing!

16 oz can. Oooh my, high alky aroma.Smells more like a 8% malt liquor. Looks quite orange with a decent head. Taste is better than it smells fer sure, I was expecting some kinda alky kit lager thing but this is not too bad initially. Creamy on the tongue, decent sizzling co2. Taste is quite unique, it does have some fruit in there and I do think its orange but not really citrus. Adds a little tartness to ti which helps it come along. Not bad in taste but probably couldnít do more than a couple of these before the thing gets yah.

Tampa, Fl - Total Wine - 16 oz can. Pours a peachy-orange with a tight white head. Artificial orange aroma - akin to citrus scented cleanser. Flavor is artificial and cloying. Cheap orange flavored hard candy comes to mind, and the flavor that sticks in your mouth when you drink orange juice after brushing your teeth. Mouthfeel coats your mouth in an an oh-so unsatisfactory fashion. Stay away.

I didnít think it was possible but if surprise is the spice of life then this brew added spice - though an unwelcome variety. Saw this at State Line Liquors in Elkton, MD during a craft beer pilgrimage and I was happy to pick up a 4 pack of cans because I hadnít had a craft beer from Nevada. Should have only purchased 1 can that way Iíd only have to pour a half can away rather 3 full cans. Right out of the gate it smells awful. Not a spoiled beer kind of awful either. Gasoline, ammonia and VERY fake orange zest. Pour is OK - hazy orange amber with a short dusky white head. All downhill from there. Tastes like an Orange Glo Cleaner Cocktail. Nothing redeeming about this beer. Surprised it didnít eat through the bottom of the glass. Iím not at all surprised to hear that Buckbean recently went beer belly up. With a flagship brew like this Iím shocked they ever got off the ground in the first place. Oh, back to that surprise: Iíd much sooner grab an industrial macro lager than another of these.
