2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap. Pours a clear straw gold with a wispy white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is corn and pale malt with a touch of bread. The flavor is rather thin and sweet with lots of residual sugar, very under attenuated. Zero perceptible hop notes. Mouthfeel is thin but sticky and clingy with soft carbonation. Pretty poor, even for a Golden Ale.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Boring lager. Pours gold. Not overly offensive and good enough for style. This should have been my sign to stop sampling here. On tap at brewpub.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap.I think this definitely tasted like a blond ale, and reminded me of some in Britain. Boring but quaffable, a little of that berry hop aroma, I dunno pale malt, very little flavour here to be honest, but yes I think it was done to style.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pale yellow fizzy drink at pub. As ’barely there’ as an ale can be. Aroma is not unpleasant so much as absent. Some light grassy hop I suppose, but barely. Crisp n’ drinkable n’ all, of course. Not sweet, which is good.
