Buckerfields Chocolate Porter

Tap@Swans. Light roast aroma. Black, low brown head. Light chocolate and roast flavours. Mellow light sparkly mouthfeel.

Pours opaque brown with not much head. Mild, malty nose with no off-notes. Rather thin in body and unexciting.

Very dark body. Chocolate aroma is a bit syrupy, but is hinting at a dark cocoa note. Decent body. Nice balance of chocolate, hints of forest, shades of nuts. Kind of like this one.

(Draught) Pours a medium, creamy beige head with a deep brown body. Served way too cold. Nose of cola and roasted malt. Nice flavour of nut brown, cocoa and mild cola fizziness. Decent beer but not overly stimulating. The chocolate is hardly present while the roasted malt is very strong. The texture is too thin.
