<P>January 2006. Bottle. Orange amber with a small white head. Muted resiny citrus aroma. Flavour has moderate bitterness, a fair bit of caramel resin throughout that lingers, along with some pleasant citrus. Average palate. Nice but unremarkable. 5/3/7/3/14 - 3.2 goldtwins (4080), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 25, 2005 Poured a hazy dark amber color with a small almost white head. Aroma of mildly sweet malt. Caramel with light fruitiness. Maybe a little tangerine. Malt foward flavor is sweet and with fruitiness wanting to dominate. Hops try to show themselves in the flavor the end. Mild bitterness on the finish. Decent showing. Good body. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 22, 2005 Draft. Rich amber beer with a thin white head. Grapefruit aroma. Grainy malt flavor over citrus hops. Lighter bodied and easy drinking. Oakes (8092), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 11, 2005 Golden-amber colour. Slighlty woody aroma. Sweetish start - syrupy but then turns very bitter late with hints of woody dryness...but still residual sweetness that clashes with the hops. Cloying IPAs...not my thing. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 5, 2005 Clear orange color with a white head. Very sweet, some candi sugar flavors, sickly tart oranges, semi-thick body, with a frothy thick amount of carbonation. Full of sweet resiny fruit and burnt malts. A little weird, though, but not hitting the right spot. Simple at times, tinny almost, with a somewhat artificial candy fruit scent. Trev (866), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA

Very respectable lacing. Can definitely smells strong hops (I had a cold so I"m pretty much limited to that.) Hoppy flavour with a sour finish. very full flavour, great mouthfeel. Was impressed with it’s drinkability.
