Pale amber colour with a thin white lace covering the top. Nice spicy hop nose, light caramel malt. Juicy citrusy hop nose, spicy and a bit woody. Light caramel malt. Flavour is very well-balanced. Sweet and malty up front with some woody hop flavour in the middle. Decent bitterness finishing it off. Much better than the ratings would have had me believe.

Fairly standard aroma. Some caramel, a little fruity, some earthy peppery hops. Pours golden amber, thin head. The flavor is lightly malty nd sweet with caramel, a little orange notes, peppery earthy floral bitterness in the finish.

Tap @ brewpub. Transparent orange appearance with a white head. Sweet orange, caramel malty, nice hoppy nose. Citrusy hoppy, toffee malty flavor. Pretty nice.

Tap. Light citric cascade on straw. Golden, white head. Light sticky straw, grassy citric, straw flavour. Dusty aftertaste, quite sticky. Ok chewyness.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours golden. Fairly standard pale malt and mild hops - balanced pale. Nothing special.

Glass, 5-ounce, draught on site, savoured on April 30 2009; eye: golden, clear, slight effervescence, tiny ring of tan head, slight lacing; nose: light caramel malt, light hops; mouth: light malt replaced almost immediately by a wave of bittering hops, light grapefruit, finale where the grapefruit takes a more important place, medium body, mildly bitter, average carbonation, light astringency, grainy texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Verre, 5 onces, en fût, bue sur place le 30 avril 2009; œil : dorée, claire, très légère effervescence, petit anneau de mousse fauve, très légère dentelle; nez : léger malt caramel, léger houblon; bouche : léger malt remplacé presque immédiatement par une vague de houblon amérisant et astringent, léger pamplemousse, finale ou le pamplemousse prend une place plus importante (peut-être à cause de la pizza), corps moyen, moyennement amère, carbonatation moyenne, légère astringence, texture rugueuse; en résumé : correct

Mild butterscotch underlies the caramel malt and floral hops in the nose. Clear dark golden body is topped by a light off white, fine bubbled head that recedes to a thin cover. Chewy caramel up front with some fruity esters and a touch of butterscotch joined by a decent balancing bitterness and floral hop notes. Toasted malts emerge in the aftertaste. Butterscotch becomes stronger as it warms. Medium body with moderate carbonation and somewhat slick texture. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in Apr-09.

Clear dark amber colour with thin beige head. Floral hop nose. Sweet start to bitter taste with lingering bitter hop finish.

Draught at the brewpub
Golden color, nice lace. Very light caramel aroma. It has a smooth caramel flavor and a correct bitterness, but too little interest, for example the hops barely find their way through. Undaring.

on tap-pours a thin off white head that laces and gold color. Aroma is grain/medium malt funky/barnyard, yeast? Taste is grain/medium malt, secondary/faint flat hops (Kent Golding and Fuggles, then read description which confirmed) OK/mild carbonation.

Light hop aroma. Pours a golden yellow with thin head. Not hoppy enough in my mind for an american pale. Still not too bad though
