Trev (456), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Apr 14, 2008 Bomber from Brewery Creek:
Poured a dark amber with a small head. Strong pumpkin pie, cinnamon, allspice aroma. This carried through to the flavour, fairly light in body with a malty finish.
Meh...a fine pumpkin ale but nothing ground breaking.
mgermani (561), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Apr 9, 2008 Pours an orangey-amber with a ring of foam and a most pungent aroma - definitely bazooka-joe bubblegum. Body is sweet, full of gentle spice and a definite pumpkin aftertaste. Probably the most drinkable pumpkin ale I’ve ever tasted - drank most of it before even getting around to rating. Mild carbonation, thin but ok body. A very nice beer, and again, dangerously drinkable. joss (3081), Garching b. München, Germany Apr 3, 2008 @Swans. Coriander aroma.
Amber, low creamy head.
Fairly spicy. Lightbodied
mabel (1246), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 8, 2008 [1071-20080201] 650mL (c/o GregClow, w/ him, blankboy, jerc, mds). Sweet pumpkin peppery allspice aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Gingery pumpkin pie crust flavour has a light floral background. Medium body is subtle. Mellow and good. blankboy (2499), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 12, 2008 Bottle (22oz) shared with jerc, mabel, GregClow & mds -- courtesy of GregClow. Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber with an average size fizzy white head. Nice aroma of pumpkin, spices (nutmeg, ginger & cinnamon), caramel malt. Flavour is a more subtle version of the aroma -- good but I wish it had more of everything. Average bodied. Quite nice, I enjoyed it.
