Pours an orangey-amber with a ring of foam and a most pungent aroma - definitely bazooka-joe bubblegum. Body is sweet, full of gentle spice and a definite pumpkin aftertaste. Probably the most drinkable pumpkin ale I’ve ever tasted - drank most of it before even getting around to rating. Mild carbonation, thin but ok body. A very nice beer, and again, dangerously drinkable.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a dark orange with a white head. Strong aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg and coriander. Flavour follows accordingly. Nice spiced ale.

Bomber from Brewery Creek: Poured a dark amber with a small head. Strong pumpkin pie, cinnamon, allspice aroma. This carried through to the flavour, fairly light in body with a malty finish. Meh...a fine pumpkin ale but nothing ground breaking.

[1071-20080201] 650mL (c/o GregClow, w/ him, blankboy, jerc, mds). Sweet pumpkin peppery allspice aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Gingery pumpkin pie crust flavour has a light floral background. Medium body is subtle. Mellow and good.

Bottle (22oz) shared with jerc, mabel, GregClow & mds -- courtesy of GregClow. Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber with an average size fizzy white head. Nice aroma of pumpkin, spices (nutmeg, ginger & cinnamon), caramel malt. Flavour is a more subtle version of the aroma -- good but I wish it had more of everything. Average bodied. Quite nice, I enjoyed it.

Bottle. Copper-orange body with a white creamy head. The aroma is really spicy and has notes of butterscotch, pumpkin, ginger, and nutmeg. The flavour is quite nice too - pumpkin notes are prominent though it’s nicely balanced with some sweet malts. Good stuff.

2008-02-01. Bottle. Hazy brown body with a small white head. Strong smooth aroma of nutmeg. Smooth lightly spicy flavour with moderate malt foundation and a sweet overall impression. Average palate. Very drinkable, solid pumpkin brew.

Bottle shared with jerc, mabel, blankboy & mds - my bottle. Deep amber with a tight white head. Aroma has lots of nutmeg, a bit of cinnamon, and sweet malt & pumpkin - right on target. Medium bodied. Flavour is a bit mellower than the flavour suggests, but still very good, with that fresh pumpkin pie vibe that you get from the better examples of the style, but also enough of a malt character to remind you that it’s a beer.
