Smells mostly of hops and a bit of roast. The flavor is certainly hoppy. A great bitterness, not that much roast or nuttiness in it, but certainly a tasty beer. Mostly seems like a dark IPA.

Pours deep red/brown with off white head, aroma is huge hops and a bit of caramel. Taste up front is big orange and citrus hops with a nice caramel back bone with a dark malt and bitter finish. Very good brew, more like a dark IPA but still a great brew!

There’s just a touch of caramel and roast in the nose, hidden behind the lovely aroma of hops. Pours a reddish-brown, with jsut a dusting of head. The flavor comes forward with roasted notes, a touch of nuts, and hops. The alcohol is hidden, but is noticeable. Quite a tasty beer.

Out of the bomber bottle. Clear garnet reddish brown with a foamy, beige head. Big malty aramo balanced by big citrus and hop resin notes. Brown sugar sweetness with some burnt toast and biscuit, but mostly lots of hops. Grapefruit rind and resin, with a lasting bitter finish and noticable alcohol.

medium brown with barely any head, worst part of the beer. citrus hops to the nose, moderate bitterness followed by a lot of spicy, earthy, and citrusy hop flavor before a subtle chocolate note taking over, adding a nice layer of complexity. there is a little solventy alcohol flavor that comes through. a very indian brown ale, complete with great hop flavor and nice chocolate and biscuity notes. only negatives are lack of head and a mild alcoholic warmth

tap at beer engine. pours a clear brown. leaves some nice lace. notes of coffee, citrusy hops, grapefruit, bread, doughy malts, and caramel. Citrusy hops shine through against a typical brown ale malt profile. A bit muddled, but good.

On tap at the Beer Engine pours clear dark brown color with light tan head. Aroma is earthy hops and some brown sugar with a touch of caramel. Course mouthfeel. Flavor follows the nose and finishes with a spicy hop and rubbing alcohol taste. The finish is real harsh and lingers for a while. Otherwise a solid brew.
