22oz bottle, no date from puddintane and the Mystery Swap 3.0--thanks! Clear medium orange with a two finger eggshell head, fading to a 1/2 finger and retaining well. Citrus hops dominate--orange, more specifically--and some grassy notes with a pretty good biscuit and caramel backbone. Some perfumey hops become apparent in the flavor. Considering it is an IPA, the aroma seemed fairly well balanced--not as much with the flavor, but still more balanced than a lot of IPAs I’ve had. Dry finish with bitterness peaking around a 5-6 and lingering in the back corners of my tongue. Medium body with light to moderate carbonation. Maybe because it was my first beer of the day since my shitty sunburn, but this beer made me happy.

Sep 18, 2008 <i>22oz bottle in Columbus, Ohio.</i> Cloudy amber brown with a thick cream head; aroma of oranges and caramel malts; sharply bitter hop flavours make the mouth tingle. Under the hops there are sweet citrus flavours. A very drinkable IPA let down by the appearance.

Sep 14, 2008 Pretty nice and solid IPA. Nice floral aroma and a nice blaance of hops. Good flavor of flowers and also metallic hops in here. Copper bite on the backend. Very creamy and rich texture. Strong grass and lemon flavor in here as well. Good malt backbone, that never takes center stage. Slight notes of bread. Very good for a stanrd IPA.

Sep 1, 2008 22oz bottle from crizay. Good floral aroma. Orange body with off white head. Good juicy citrus flavor with a malt backbone that took away the crispness of an ipa. Good beer thanks Chris.

Aug 26, 2008 Poured a nice golden color with thin white head. Aroma was hoppy with a hint of grass and citrus. I also smelt pachuli oil, but it may have been the dirty hippie standing next to me. The taste, conidering the name, was very balanced. It had the bitter bite you would expect from any IPA, but it went down really smooth. This is a great choice for an everyday IPA.

Aug 26, 2008 Alefest sample. Great citrus hops aroma with a nice bitter flavor balanced lightly with malt. Pretty solid in my opinion and easy to drink, but could definitely be improved upon if they made the effort.
