2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 joshwilfong (1200) - Cleveland, USA - JUL 26, 2011
pale golden with white head. nose of sweet malt. mild bitterness before some sweet corn-like malt with some residual sweetness without much hop flavor. the residual sweetness leaves a cloying taste and the bitterness could be more accentuated this to balance this. not very drinkable

Pours pale yellow with very little head. Smell of straw, caramel malts, grass and corn not much else going on here. Taste much like the smell with some cereal grain, light on the palate with a short finish.

Picked up at the brewery about a month ago, ~$5 I think. 22oz bomber, no date. Pours a clear effervescent golden with a one finger white head, good retention. Aroma of husky grain and lighter toasted grain, low honey sweetness. Flavor adds a bit of grape, but otherwise, this is aforementioned grain dominant. Semi-dry, light sweetness lingers, bitterness peaked at a 2. Moderate smooth carbonation with a light to medium body. Refreshing, inoffensive--a solid cream ale.

Pours golden from tap with a nice white head. Not much on the nose. Pretty bland on the tongue. Not my favorite style and this one doesn’t change my opinion.

Very feint bready aroma. Pours a clear light yellow, with a moderate white head. Light creamy flavor, with a touch of bittering hops. Easy drinking, and not very complex, but good for a hot summer day.

On tap at the brewery. A hoppy cream ale. A nice bitterness, and sme creaminess. Nothing special and in fact a little light mouthfeel, as if watered down somewhat. I suggest they take lessons from the guest tap, the nitro Mojo.
