2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
10/28/2014: The Blonde is a lot like a Pils. Pils and biscuit malt with a hefty dose of grassy hops. Light and effervescent. Decent overall, but not something I am in the mood for right now. Draught at the Buckeye Lake Brewery.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub. Golden color with a quickly disappearing egg shell head. Light grainy nose. Some muddled grainy flavors with a grapefruit pith bitterness, some buscuity dough and grassy hops in the finish. Actually pretty flavorful for a brewpub blond.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin and somewhat fizzy white head that dissipates quickly to a film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet malt and hops. Light body with flavors of bready malt, grassy hops and a touch of fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
