Bottle shared by turd. Pours a dark black with a tan head. The nose was sweet, grainy, smelled some light catfood (?), a little roast. The flavor was smokey, grainy, a bit subdued. Not very upfront but I’ve found that to be the case with most of the foreign stouts I’ve had. As Jason mentioned coming right after the Trooper may have been no good.

Bottle shared by Turdferguson - thanks, Sam! Thick black pour, beige head. Slightly too thin, although perhaps to style. It also had a tough time following the stout trooper, but in general I found this to be a competent drink, with a nice smoky malt finish.

Bomber that I think was left over my house by imtheoptimator. Pours brown with a tan head. Smells of chocolate, oats, come coffee, roasty. Tastes roasty and chocolatey with a sweet malty finish. Enjoyable.

Poured black with a hige, thick and creamy brown head. Nice, sweet chocolate malt aroma. Flavor is roasty chocolate and rich roasty malts, dark fruits and coffee with a slight metalic flavor at the finish. Good beer.

This was a solid stout that had a great aroma or roasty chocolate malts. There seemed to be a solid hoppy flavor and bitterness to this one. A solid beer but i dont know if i like the hop presense to this one.
