COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
I never met a Sasquatch I didn't like. This delicious beer starts with a distinct citrus aroma followed by a complex flavor from European Munich and Biscuit specialty malts. Finally, it ends with the trademark Buckeye finish- hops, hops, and more hops. The Columbus variety is used to balance the brew, and later Sasquatch and I personally dry-hop it with Cascade.

Bomber bottle. Poured deep amber with a moderate frothy off-white head that lasted and had some lacing. Moderate hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Well balanced hoppy citrus flavor with an average bitter finish. Good brew.

Lots of hops but plenty of malt to back it up. Fragrant and well balanced. Good beer.

Pours to a nice coppery/orange colored body with a nice frothy off-white head. The aroma is fruity and citrusy. Grapefruit and pine, little bit of pineapple. The flavor is quite malty. Dry grassy biscuits, light sweet honey. The palate is nicely bitter. Medium body with a nice texture.

Bottle: Medium amber w/ a lasting just off white head. Strong grapefruit citrusy hop w/ a an underlying carmel and lightly toasted, nutty malt; low fruitiness and hops turn a little piney as it warms. Citrusy hop flavor and lightly bitter, but very well balanced overall. fairly fruity w/a light caramel malt, finishes bittersweet and semi dry w/a toasty malt and hop aftertaste. Medium bodied w/ low carbonation and a dry, but oddly smooth mouthfeel. Very good representation of an APA. Quite drinkable session ale for mass consumption if so desired.

Love the appearance, deep brown with red hues and tons of yeast floating around. Grassy citrusy hops aroma and oh what could have been, the flavor is a nice blend of floral hops slightly bready, and malt but the palate is thin and seriously detracts from this good beer.

Bottle. Pours dark amber and clear. Nice hoppy aroma - pine and citrus. Flavor is also very piney and citrus hoppy, with some caramel malts in the back. Kinda thin / watery - needs more malts. Decent.

Bomber. Poured clear medium orange with a very tall cap of medium-thick beige head. Nose was primarily hoppy with a bunch of pine and mellower citrus (grapefruit)... with some sweet caramel and biscuity malts beneath. Medium-high pine and lemony bitterness in the flavor with just the right sweet caramel backing... I caught an odd flavor of sparkly orange soda in there (not bad). Soft and smooth base and a medium level of bitterness on the palate. Very nice.

Thanks to OhioDad for this one! Pours a hazy dark amber with a generous pff-white head. Light citrus aroma. The flavor is well balanced, with both sweet malts and bittering hops represented equally. A gentle, yet firm drying bitterness describes the finish. I could drink a session with this one.

Bottle purchased at Dilly Deli in Mariemont, OH. Pours a large off-white fizzy head that was mostly lasting, fair quantity of lacing, floaties, hazy, visible carbonation, and an orange hue. Caramel, hoppy, grapefrut, and pine nose. Flavor was grapefruit, pine, hoppy, caramel, bitter hops. Hoppy mouthfeel. Medium body. All-in-all a nice brew for this style.

Certainly tell this is a Buckeye beer from the aroma. A slightly hazy copper color small head. A musty citrus hop aroma. A spicy hop taste. Very good.
