7/07/2008: Buckeye Solar is clear gold in color with a barely there white crown. It has a low level of carbonation but the bubbles are quite big. The aroma is grainy with some light hoppiness. The flavor is mild and filled with earty hops, citrus in the back, light lemon, and a grainy finish. It is slightly yeasty with a sour bit in the aftertaste. It has a medium-light body that seems a bit watery. Overall this beer is refreshing.

Draught sample (5% ABV) at the Buckeye Beer Engine in Lakewood, Ohio. Rating #2 for this beer.

On tap at the brewpub, summery pale ale. Golden coloured body with a tinge of orange. A little funky aroma. Lacey, average mouthfeel. Passable drinkability.

Draft sample. Poured clear copper color with a moderate fizzy white head that lasted and had good lacing. Moderate hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Well balanced bittersweet flavor with an average bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good brew.

On tap at buckeye a nice fizzy yellow brew with a light taste leaning more towards an English pale ale, not bad not great

Darker yellow color with a white head. Citrus hop aroma. Citrusy and hoppy flavor that reminded me of a watered down ipa. Bitter finish. Overall made me think of a kit beer.
