3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
2008 Bottle, shared by mcbackus @ Redlight. Reddish-brown and murky. Fuzzy hop aroma is really piney and foresty and swampy with lots of muddy goodness. Smooth carbonation. Really nice, balanced flavors. Earthy, fruity hops but not at all chewy and very drinkable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Courtesy mcbackus. Pouirs a clear amber color with a small white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma was pretty hoppy with big citrus and piney hops coming through. The flavor follows with the piney and citrus hops up front with a good dose of sweet caramel malt in the background to balance things out. Medium bodied with a long bitter finish that masked the alcohol quite nicely. Nice beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bonus bottle ( ! ) thanks to Miketd. Brilliant copper red color with a light tan head. Hugely sweet pungent floral hop aroma with caramel. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Very good floral hop showcase on a bittersweet caramel malt base brew. A very tasty treat.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle shared by Dogbrick. Cloudy amber color with a medium off-white head. Malty aroma with some berry influence and hops. Lots of malt up front, but then you get the hops and some alcohol that is a bit too much. A little bit of rubbing alcohol character, but not unbearable. The hops sort of calm that down. Not bad.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from the Beer Engine. The beer pours a dark reddish brown color with a thin and creamy off-white head that recedes steadily. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney hops, malt and dark fruit. Rich body with flavors of zesty hops and pine primarily, as well as some fruit and warming alcohol. The finish is spicy hops with a light caramel undertone. A little on the harsh side overall but still pretty good.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Courtesy Mcbackus. Pours a nice amber color and a little bit of head. Big perfumy citrus hop aroma, just a big blast in the nose of hops. Pungent hop taste, caramel malt body that balance the hops well. Surprisingly drinkable and tasty for all of the hops.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle courtesy of mcbackus. THANKS!! Amber pour. Hops hit the nose with some good caramel. Flavor has some great hops(citrus and pine)...but some nice malts are there to give this beer some pretty easy drinkability considering the ABV. Good beer. Glad to try this one!

Shared by mcbackus. THANK YOU! Nice amber pour. Strong hoppy and citrus aroma. Sweet caramel on the front end, and a full hop zinger on the rear. Far too many hops for this girl, but a solid brew.
