Dark cola brown, light tan head. Very faint cherry-fruit aroma. Tastes a little like a lighter version of their Winter (Scotch) Ale. Moderately sweet, fruity (currants, plums), cola and a bit of cocoa flavoring. Mildly tart/sweet finish that fades to a very slight astringency. Pithy palate. A little sulphur in the finish. Commendable.

Nice malty aroma - deep copper color - thick head with good lacing. Flavor is initailly nutty with a bit of caramel detected. Turns metallic and artificial as it winds down however.
