Poured a clear copper color with a medium white head. Aromas of caramel and light hops. Flavor is malty, a little sweet. Light to medium bodied crisp and semi dry.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 aracauna (2649) - Georgia, USA - NOV 9, 2004
This was the Best of Show from the Georgia Craftbrew Challenge, although that only applied to the Oktoberfest from the southside Buckhead Brewery. Clear copper/amber with a small head. Slight hops in the aroma. Good caramel malt. Crisp and refreshing.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 skaughty (622) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 7, 2004

Pours beautifully - like a pumpkin-colored caramel soup. The aroma is mildy spicy and mildly hoppy. The malting is ample, but not particularly interesting. The finish is clean and crisp.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 harlequinn (2745) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - NOV 2, 2003
A very nice take on Oktoberfest. This was very enjoyable with a dense coloring and a light aroma, but the flavor has a nice malt complex that is very appealing.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Aurelius (3077) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 6, 2002
Caramel, malt and Cascade/Centennial hop nose. Orange-tea color with quickly fading head. This is a pretty stereotypical brew for this brewery -- lots of citrus hops, extremely clear and colorful. Mouthy brew with a silky palate. Cascade and nut finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 PorterPounder (3944) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 31, 2002
Clean, malty aroma, nice orange appearance. Malty-sweet flavor that goes down smooth - strong to the finish. Good representation of the style.
