Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, orange, apple notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090122]

Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of citrus and butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, as well as lighter notes of butter, leading to a dry strawy finish.
