4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured a golden orangish color from the tap with aromas of fresh citrus, lots of it, light tropical fruit, clean malt, and a touch of bitterness. Flavors were hops on for days, lots of citrus, and tropical fruits, light bitter aftertaste, light dryness, that made you want more and more after each sip.

Incredible beer. Really orange flavored and super hoot. Smells like week and is a dark orange draft. Had at Jerry's sandwiches.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From a grumbler thanks to a beer buddy at work. Orange-yellow color with a smallish head. Aroma is grassy hops with some booze. When cold, the first thing you notice is astringency and then pine/citrus hops, booze, a small malt backbone and then a citrus pith aftertaste. Once it warms, it improves and the astringency goes away. The ABV is more apparent in this one than in regular Clencher - perhaps thatís the astringency I picked up? Not bad, but not as good as regular Clencher. Worth a try, though, if youíre a BuckleDown fan. A bit of an update on the second glass - itís definitely got the citrus pithiness working, but if it just had a bit of the grapefruit / orange fruitiness, it would be spectacular.
