Tasted this in The Esquire House, Glasgow (JDW) in May 2005. Cask, Handpump dispense. Clear pale amber in colour with a thin white head. Slight hop note in the short nose. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt base gives a digestive malt with a hint of redcurrant fruit. Dusty hop resins give aslight citric tang to the aftertaste. Finish is dry and has a note of grapefruit. Nothing too exciting in this standard type bitter.

Cask on handpump. A dark session beer, fairly sweet and full bodied. Fairly pleasant but ordinary, could do with more hops to balance.
