Fairly dark brown, malty characteristics with a sligh fruitiness. Nothing wrong with it but I understand why the guy below said it would get pretty boring for a sesion beer.

Sep 5, 2008 Bottle, Spar by Millennium Stadium, Cardiff. Dark Chestnut colour with a thin to non existent beige head. Vague malty aroma. Slim trace of fruit in the flavour but very lifeless and boring. Couldn’t finish 500ml of this. Neeeext !

Aug 21, 2008 Cask. Sourish butter aroma. Hazy brown colour. The flavour has some butter and is a bit sour. Creamy buttery aftertaste.

Aug 15, 2008 Sweet smell of flowery hops. Light amber colour with a small white head. Has a flavour of malt and was slightly fizzy. a bit disappointed.

Aug 9, 2008 Cask at GBBF 08. Solid dark amber appearance. Spicy toffee aroma. Sweet but well balanced with hops. Feels stronger than it is. Good stuff.
