3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Rogue Public House - deep black pour - after having two of their other beers, which were terrible, I was dreading this - this turned out to be fairly decent (by comparison) - fairly creamy in the mouth - medium dry, with some moderately bitter black malt - cherry is mellow and earthy (whole fruit, skin, pit) - a bit of bittersweet chocolate - decent brew.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draught. Aroma is candy and fruitcake. Sweet flavour, much too sweet. Black colour with medium tan head. Unpleasant finish. I would not drink this again.
