I didn’t even know this still existed until I saw it in the back cooler at the local candy store. Aroma is lightly malty, a bit of Red Bull artificial sweetness. Flavor is slightly medicinal with more Red Bull taste. Palate is moderately bitter, but not really hoppy or dry. Decent swiller.

I agree with a lot of the comments from people that this is the best Bud of them all. It has the great taste of a mass produced Pale Lager. I would actually buy this if I saw it in the store.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2005 I have been wanting to try Bud Dry since before I can remember, so you can imagine my excitement when I found this stuff in the supermarket down in Knoxville. Pale white-gold color, with a moderate amount of white head. Smells like a touch of honey, grains, rice and mineral water. Flavor is very strange. Dry indeed, but not flavorful in the least. Reminds me of Miller Lite, very rice-like with a tiny hint of sweetness. Bubbly mouthfeel, not as harsh as I was expecting. It was a pretty average, refreshing drink while we were bbq’ing outside.

Grapevine Market - Austin, Tx - 12 oz bottle - didn’t know they still sold this! Pours a pale light yellow, with a pillowy but thin snow white head that actually leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is expectantly funky with food chemical adjuncts and bit of paint thinner. Flavor is not much different than mineral water, no real other way to describe it - not much of a beer taste to it at all. Mouthfeel is dry of course, and thin, leaves you thirsting for something other than this. Can see why they no longer carry this in all markets.

This was the first beer I drank in college back in ’90. The best thing I can say about it is that it’s the best of the three Bud varieties.

This bud’s for you. Thank god because it’s not for me. Light yellow color with no head. Not much on flavor either
