Oh lordy! They still make this swill? Another beer at co-worker’s party. Pours a pale yellow brew with a fast dissolving white head. Aroma is just barely malt and some front yard lawn. Taste is a little sour and watered down finish. Yeap, a good lawn mower beer or a light beer bread mixer.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2005 hahahahahahahahahaha. A little corn and of course the important part is that it has alcohol.

I thought it was pleasant. Think Bud Light with a little less adjuncty taste. Best out of the crappy AB pale lagers I’ve had.

TheDM and Hotstuff vacation brew 1. After stopping at several beer stores, we found this beer in Bowling Green Kentucky. Having not seen it before, we bought a can and took it to a nearby restaurant, asked for a pair of glasses and rated it! This brew poured a small head of finely sized white colored mostly diminishing bubbles that left beind a poor lace and a transparent urine urine yellow colored body. The aroma was rice beer like and skunky. The mouthfeel was bubbly, tingly and a had a dry finish. The mild rice beer flavor finished with a mild hop bite. Get only as a must have.

Grapevine Market - Austin, Tx - 12 oz bottle - didn’t know they still sold this! Pours a pale light yellow, with a pillowy but thin snow white head that actually leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is expectantly funky with food chemical adjuncts and bit of paint thinner. Flavor is not much different than mineral water, no real other way to describe it - not much of a beer taste to it at all. Mouthfeel is dry of course, and thin, leaves you thirsting for something other than this. Can see why they no longer carry this in all markets.

A good clean crisp dry beer from St. Louis. Needs, Hops, Malt, barley and maybe and a bit of time in some fermenting tanks.

Like Budwieser with less taste. Not much to say but that it is semi-sweet with a mostly watery taste.

The aroma is metallic with pure adjunct malt. The appearance is very pale gold with a three finger head. The flavor is dry up front but malty in the finish with a lingering metallic element. The palate is watery. This is like a light malt liquor, it has no reason to exist.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2005 I have been wanting to try Bud Dry since before I can remember, so you can imagine my excitement when I found this stuff in the supermarket down in Knoxville. Pale white-gold color, with a moderate amount of white head. Smells like a touch of honey, grains, rice and mineral water. Flavor is very strange. Dry indeed, but not flavorful in the least. Reminds me of Miller Lite, very rice-like with a tiny hint of sweetness. Bubbly mouthfeel, not as harsh as I was expecting. It was a pretty average, refreshing drink while we were bbq’ing outside.

A nothing fluffy meringue head and aroma. Taste is not good, but not quite as bad as I expected. It’s like slightly colored water. Another crappy bud product.
