Yea, it is still being made. They sell 16 oz. 6-packs of this real cheap around here, so I thought I would give it a shot. Oh no, oh no, five more to go.

I was attracted to this beer because it was a good bargain (read: cheap). It is honestly nothing special and its taste is stale.

Yellow color, white head, little lacing. Smell is not terrible, its got a little bit of grain and corn coming through. Very bland taste, but that could be expected, it’s pretty much Budweiser, dumbed down, as if we needed that, but it does have a small amount of flavor and no hops present. This is an odd way to try and balance a beer, more water to a watery flavor instead of more flavor balanced by hops, but whatever. Mouthfeel is highly carbonated with little body. I finished the whole can.

It has been a number of years since I have had this. But back when the DRY thing was in this was on of my favorites. Hence the higher rating. But I am sure if I had it now as a more “experienced” beerer (if that is a word) I am sure id feel different.

this beer didn’t have much flavor, nor is it smooth or pure. It goes down fairly easy and doesn’t have much of an aftertaste. Dont get it alot because it is too bitter.

I found this ’gem’ in the very back corner of Beltway Fine Wine in Towson, Maryland. I remember the slogan "Why ask why? Try Bud Dry". Like most of the other raters, I didn’t think this was still produced. Curiosity made the final decision in my purchase and I was pleasantly let down when I tried my first. Bud Dry is like a pre-cursor to Bud Select. Bud Dry apparently wasn’t bad enough, so a decade later, Bud decided to revamp Bud Dry and make Bud Select. Not as good as an original Bud, not worth the price either. $9.00 a 12-pack. It comes with a born-on date, which surprisingly is current. Tastes like crap, but still much better than Miller Lite.

I haven’t drank/seen this beer for years! It reminds me a bit of Coors Light, but better tasting. Not that it’s great tasting but if I had to, I would chose it over Coors Light. Do they still make Bud Dry? I thought it was discontinued.

Tastes better than Bud, but what doesn’t... more carbonated tasting... lightish... not bad but I never see it in stores anymore so who cares.

mediocre...almost no bitterness...also hard to find unless you live near a bud brewery...cheaper than all other bud products in my area
