From old notes. Can, light thin pale yellow, maybe a green hint to it. Fruity berry aroma and flavor, couldn’t really separate any ginseng or guarana flavors. A bit too gimicky for me.

Bottle-No head after the pour, the color was a bright yellow with large carbonated bubbles. I’ve never had Red Bull, but if this what Red Bull tastes like, Red Bull should shoot for something higher.

Smells like an energy drink, looks like an energy drink, and tastes like an energy drink. The only hint that there’s something else going on is that tinge of aweful budweiser taste that pulls through. Not so sure this belongs on ratebeer.com even since it barely counts. :-P

B-to-the-E. Hahaha, how pathetic. If only Stone of something came out with like S-to-the-T-to-the-O-to-the-N-to-the-E. Right. This beer sucks, but at least it boosts the energy for this of us that get sleepy-drunk.

Free sample at Sea World. It wasn’t horrible, if you know what you are about to drink. I was more like a fruit beer. Very Red Bull on the nose, raspberryish. Very fruity flavors with some classic lager flavors in the background. This makes it better than others I have had like Sparks. At least it has SOME similarities to beer.

Novelty beer. I didn’t think it was awful, but I certainly wouldn’t classify it as a beer. Tastes very similar to Red Bull. Has a sweet, tangy citrus taste. Had some DMS taste in there as well (one of the few beer flavors present).

Erm... It was on discount, and I felt that I hadn’t had enough swill lately. Imagine that you have some regular Bud and some cheap berry-flavored sparkling water. Combine them. This will give you some idea of the aroma, appearance, flavor, and palate. There’s no discernible flavor from the ginseng or guarana, which is a shame because either one might actually taste fairly interesting in a well-made brew. The caffeine did keep me up; I spent most of last night sitting around listening alternately to James Brown, May Blitz, and the Trojan Records Roots boxed set before eventually settling down to bizarre dreams about the Chinese New Year in Trinidad.

Ok, someone offered me one for free, so I had to try it ... it looks like beer, but smells of raspberries ... and tastes exactly like Redbull ... sweet alcoholy-berry. Why would they do this?
