Here we have AB trying to capitlize on a craze. Very weird stuff, didn’t hate it but then I do like energy drinks. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | May 17, 2006 Bottle from the Old Sun, Lane End. The only beer brewed with class a drugs. This is a 5% version brewed in the US and exported for the UK market. It looks like a brown bottle, and there is a bit of foamy head inside. The Aroma is heavily of artificial fruit syrup and cough medicine. To taste this is just all sweet fake fruit flavouring, reminds me of cheap strawberry ice cream sauce. Just really awful. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 17, 2005 Crystal clear light golden (piss) coloured beer with a super large frothy, large bubbled white head. Aroma of red bull, sugars, flintstone vitamins, grapes and taffy. Light-bodied; Super sweet tasting beer, similar to an orange soda or red bull, with no malt, hops, alcohol or any beer taste at all. Aftertaste shows more caster sugar sweetness, nothing roasted or flavourful, just pure sugars. Overall, a pretty bad drink...doesn’t taste ANYTHING like beer-more like a sweet drink with hardly any beer flavour at all. I sampled this 10 ounce can purchased by my brother-in-law at 7-Eleven somewhere here outside Washington, in Virginia on 17-January-2005. I am rating this beer not so low, because the scores I picked up from the beer weren’t all negative, just not what I would consider beer. Believe it or not, i’d rather have this one compared to many other beers, including A Le Coq Imperial Stout, Sam Adams Triple bock, Floris Chocolate, etc. jimhilt (1696), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | May 15, 2006 Pours a three finger, white head that quickly fades to nothing leaving no lace. Crystal clear pale yellow color. Traces of carbonation and very light bodied. Sweet fruity nose. Starts sweet from added flavors not from malt, no hint of hops or malts, higher ABV is not noticeable. A-B can make good beer if they really try (Bare Knuckle stout) but this doesn’t taste or look like beer. Pricey - $5.49 for a 4-pak of 10oz bottles from Irving Blue Canoe Concord, NH.

Pours out the yellowest color of beer I have seen. Crystal clear. Sparse white head leaves no lacing. Medicinal aroma reminds me of head colds and Robitussin. Light and sweet tasting. Just slightly acidic. Fun for the novelty, good for nothing else. dm9831 (1168), Monee, Illinois, USA

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 11, 2008 Sampled in the BrewMaster’s Club at Busch Gardens Williamsburg on 07/10/2008. Very clear pale golden body with a small frothy white head. Sweet fruity almost redbull aroma. More rebull flavor with a grainy background that takes over. Medium light body with fairly high carbonation. oldrtybastrd (1846), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 28, 2005 Pours a golden yellow color. Aromas of Red Bull and some funky odor. My wife likes to drink Red Bull and Champagne, and this is what BE tastes like. I could not decipher any beer flavors. Thank God for the 8oz can, don’t know if I could have got through a 12oz. OK to try, but will never buy again.
