UPDATED: APR 16, 2005 Very pale yellow color with a thin white head. A point for the cool textured shoulder on the bottle. The aroma is corn and grass. The taste is sweet corn flakes along with some slight astringent sourness in the aftertaste. Not much character otherwise in this watery brew.

Had this last night with Mexican food at a friends house. It was in a clear bottle which usually spells doom, but it wasn’t very skunky. It was, however, very corny and almost a cardboard hint to it. Taste is soggy corn flakes dipped in moderate alcohol. Mouthfeel is at one extreme to the other. Starting off very carbonated but it didn’t take too long to get almost stale and flat. Surpringly, really as most AB products are usually good about that. Obviously, I didn’t like it but I could see it’s value after a long day on the links or after mowing the grass. However, I’d choose another and you should too.

Working my way through the Bud Ice family of beers - thought I’d start with the light and work my way up through the ales, porter, stout etc.... No real discernible aroma - except for a slight sweaty sock smell - which is better than skunky. Horrible mouthfeel - hard to swallow this down - not smooth drinking at all like some other macro -cheap beers. Little to non-exisitent fizzy white head. All in all, not a good beer.

Appearance: Pours a clear, almost colorless yellow body topped with a thin ring of white bubbles. Smell: Water-logged cornflakes with a whiff of fusel alcohol. Taste: More day-old cornflakes along with an accompanying sweetness. Nothing in here that resembles hops or bitterness. The flavor grows more and more and more watery until only a slight, unpleasant astringent note appearing on the finish can remind you you’re not just drinking water, though you’ll rather you had been. Mouthfeel: Ultra thin-bodied. Medium carbonation. This is as watery as it gets, folks. Drinkability: Entirely bland and unenjoyable. A very unnecessary beer.

A weak version of Bud light with very little to no flavor. They took everything out to brew this. This is a kids beer maybe to get them ready for the good stuff. A hugley light American Lager that needs to add hopps , malt, barley, and some time in the lagering tanks.

12oz bottle served cold. Aroma is toasted corn and pours a pale golden color. Small head that leaves no lacing. Taste is typical for an AB beer. Watery and light on the alcohol and hops but full of a corn flavored maltiness which is not entirely bad but suffers from a lack of complexity. Certainly, I would rank this lower if it wasn’t a light beer.

Another classic for which I had long been searching. Very excited to try this one! Very corn-like yellow pour, thin white head. The bud dry was good, but this one is a whole new ballgame. Definite sour/sharp alcohol and paint-thinner-like notes arise. Flavor is grossly sweet (not highly flavorful, but what’s there is corn-syrupy sweet) and very difficult to drink. Soured, skunked finish that tastes offensive even when cold. I guess it was just too much to hope that I could drink two good AB products in a row. If forced, I would gladly take Miller Lite Ice over this. Hmm, I think I’m getting slightly philosophical about macro swill. . . .

Now this light beer from budweiser is cheap...thats all it really has going for its self, except for the kinda cool bottles... No real flavor here and make sure you drink it REALLY cold!

15 DEC 07, Southeast YeHa. Clear 12oz bottle. Aroma of canned corn. Flavor is of flat mineral water. Boring.... so are the people who buy and drink this shit!
