2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a clear light copper with a short lived head. Corn aroma. Flavor is smooth and balanced but bland. An easy drinking BBQ beer for a hot summer day. The 5.5% alcohol is icing on the cake (no pun intended). My new go to macro.

$0.97 for a 24ozer at the local Winn Dixie. One of the worst crap lagersI have rated. Smell is sweet corn and more sweet corn. Taste is adjunct corn lager amped up with more shitty corn and tin foil.

Pale gold pour. Corny ash nose. More taste than regular bud or BL. I can’t say its bad because there’s nothing bad there. Its just bland beer. Inoffensive and easy drinking. Near flavorless with a little corn. Very smooth. Slightly dry, oily finish.

All these years and I hadn’t rated this! A 24oz can here, served ICE COLD. Nose sickly sweet and corn-inflected, pours clear golden with a short and fizzy white head. A little fizzy carbonation, mild stale grain that reminds of damp laundry forgotten in the machine overnight, husky with corn but not too sweet -- more like semi-dry. Light-medium body. Has that unique quality where you know a few pints would leave you with a headache in the morning, but without surface aggression. As far as BMC, one of the least painful alcohol-delivery mechanisms.

This beer is for the cheap and easy crowd. Not much on character, just makes for quick drinking and fills you up quick.

After reviewing the Natural Ice from A-B, decided to see the differences with this one. Came in a 12-pack in the States, of clear bottles. Pours the same light golden colour, with a white frothy head, average retention and dirty lace. Pretty much just smells like corn. The mouthfeel gave me some sticky teeth, but overall refreshing when real cold. The taste is pretty mild with the corn again. Nothing too chemical here. Kind of reminds me a stronger Corona (with the clear bottle). Less offensive than the Natural Ice, so better and not bad for the price when had cold.

Bud Ice looks, smells and taste like beer .As rule I drink J.D. straight but right now it is 90 some degrees. The word ice got my attention. God Bless America, God Save The Republic.

This is a stronger version of budweiser (regular bud). A couple extra points for alc %

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2013 This actually isn’t as bad as people would like to say it is. Yes its pale, yes its grainy, yes its watery & no there aren’t any hops but it was never intended to be a craft beer. Its a slightly harsh but smooth macro lager that goes down easy & gives you a buzz. The old bottles with the jagged edges were the coolest thing about this beer.

Well this is one terrible tasting beer. Very astringent with almost no hop presence.
