UPDATED: SEP 13, 2004 This beer got better the more I drank it. Says on the can it’s alarmingly drinkable, or something like that. Well, it is drinkable, and has a kind of wheat-metallic huff to it. Certainly gets you drunk fast enough. When I drink beers like this, I seem to think that I’m in the New Jersey Pinelands or something. 24 oz. can. (Edit: Another beer that gets a 2-point general deduction for inexplicably knocking me off my butt later in the day, even though it was the only thing I drank.)

"Ech! Ech! Oh!" Yes, my friends, those are the disturbed exclamations that came from the mouth of DerBiermeister as we drank this putrid concoction of beer ingredients. This crap looks like urine and tastes...gosh...words fail me. It’s just so dang bad--not watery--bad...

A heavy pour and got a three-fingered white head that faded quickly to a ring leaving no lace. Clear golden color. Light-medium carbonation and light bodied. Starts with a sweetness, the alcohol is noticeable, maybe that’s what gives it some flavor, better than a regular Budweiser but really just a good lawnmower beer. $1.25 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits, Acton, Ma.

Pale golden colour (330 ml bottle), thin head. Slightly sweetish aroma, neutral watery palate. Introduced in 1994... Ten years of existence... Perhaps, that’s enough?

The aroma on here surprised me. It smells a little like honey. It’s also a honey sort of colour. It’s...not...that...bad actually. I’ll probably never get it again, but it’s not...that bad...::sip::...

This canned brew poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a poor lacing. The body was carbonated transparent and weak yellow orange in color. The mouth feel was bubbly and tingly initially with a astringent rice beer smooth finish. The flavor was better than ecpected with notes of rice weak malt astringent hops and weak dough. It does have 5.5% ABV and does seem to have a bit of a kick to it, more than a regular Bud.

Bottle. Tastes like regular Budweiser but without all the flavor and smoothness. This was not easy to get down.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2008 [12 oz. bottle] This definitely falls into the I didn’t even know they still made this category. Poured a pale yellow with no head. Smelled like stale rice. Tasted like stale rice. Very watery, but it was 5.5%.
