I am so honored that jackl brought back this whale to share with me! 25 ounce can, of which about 24 ounces went down the train. The being said, this is the best Iíve tried of the Chelada line. That being said, itís still pretty terrible. Pours a hazy pink-orange with no head. Aroma of lime, salt, doughy malt. The taste is salt, tomato, lime, pale malt, clams. Thin bodied.

Can. Brought this bad boy from Arkansas to Virginia just to share with Drake. Slightly hazy reddish pink pour with a tiny head. Strong carb. Strong lemon lime aroma. Sort of mild aroma. Taste is pretty awful. Mashed tomato and goldfish. Lemon/lime citrus. Salt. Weirdly thick. Medium body, active carbonation. Awful.

Big fucken can @ home, picked up at Argonaut Denver. Cloudy pink grapefruit juice appearance with no head. Aroma has a bunch of lime, celery salt, and tomato juice. Slightly sweet flavor. Kind of tastes like a Chicago Dog with the celery salt, tomato, and pepper notes. Iím not sure I get more lime in this one than the others but it does seem to be a bit more smooth. I still donít like Cheladas but I guess this is the best one Iíve had.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bud Light & Clamato Chelada Extra Lime has a thick, fizzy, quickly-dissipating pink head, a pink-orange appearance, with noticable chunks suspended throughout, and a salty film left on the sides of the glass. The aroma is of lime, tomato, and clam broth. Taste is of those elements, with salt and a shade of beer. Mouthfeel is light, and Bud Light & Clamato Chelada Extra Lime finishes salty and vegetal. For what it is, it is very good. The extra lime flavor helps. RJT

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
25 oz can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy salmon color with a transient, sort of white head. Aroma of tomato, salt and lime. Med minus body. Starts with "clamato", salt, then goes to lime, then back to tomato followed by salt. This is probably not very healthy.

How am I the first one to rate this? 25 fluid ounces in a can. It pours a salmon pink color with a fizzy head that disappears quickly. The aroma is actually not horrific with some strong lime, lots of salt and a little pepper. It also has a weird tropical fruit sweetness going on, but maybe thats just more lime. The flavor is umÖvery salty up front with the lime tang hitting you in the back of the throat. Then the vegetal tomato comes in. Nasty finish. It does leave a slight burn in the throat that isnít all that unpleasant. Iím not really the guy to give a fair rating to this kind of beer. The "extra lime" does kind of save it from being a drain pour.
