12 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden tan with a small, long lasting off white head. Smells of spices, citrus, and wheat. Tastes wheaty, a thin watery malt, but nicely seasoned with lemon, corriander, and a touch of nutmeg. Body is very thin, but thats to be expected for a light beer. This is the most unusual light beer that I’ve tried yet. I never would have guessed that such a good style of beer could be made into a light, and pull it off well. Forget the bias’ because of the name, this is a good beer. Just remember it is supposed to be light, don’t bash it because it’s watery. Very original brew and nice drinkability.

12oz bottle pours a slightly, hazy golden beer with high carbonation and no lacing. What little head I got from a forced pour dissipated immediately. Odd aroma of orange peel/zest and coriander. Taste is the same "synthetic" orange followed by nothing--Just "wet". This wasn’t terrible, it was just bleh.

Aroma of slight orange peel and other tropical fruits. It poured a usual light beer piss yellow color. Taste of decaying clove and old coriander. Watery on the palate. At the end of the day this is a light beer, so what where you expecting? You get what you pay for, that’s for sure.

12oz bottle. Ok, this time I’m going to resist the temptation to give this an awful rating because it’s an Anheuser-Busch/InBev product. Instead, I’m going to give it an awful rating because it’s an awful beer. Pours a clear golden color with a fizzy white head and a slight hint of lacing. Doesn’t look terrible, I guess. Aroma is faint wheat along with dirt and ricey adjunk. Flavor is very light with wheat, a faint citrus note, very mild coriander, and for the finale - Bud Light. Yup, finished up just like its uber-crappy namesake, with water, rice, and grain. Palate is abysmally watery and fizzy. I guess this has "drinkability," like the ads say, but overall, it sucks. Glad I had a friend there to drink half of the bottle.

Bottle on 11/14/2009. Slightly hazy golden orange body with a small frothy white head. Sweet fruity and spicy aroma with a wheat background. Sweet fruity flavor with lemon zest, coriander, and a wheat background. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.

Bottled. Pours golden orange, with medium off white head. Smells of soap and earth. Flavors are lacking. i can almost pick up orange peel, but am not sure if that’s just wishful thinking because it says citrus on the label. Will not buy this again.

Drinking Bud Light’s Golden Wheat is akin to be popped in the mouth with a bucket full of oranges. There is a tart zing that overwhelms the taste of the alleged wheat flavor. A fizzy beer - as to be expected - that summons up thoughts of lemon pie filling and sour Jolly Ranchers. I’m sure that, with this type of anticlimactic beer flavor, Bud Light Golden Wheat could double for a poor man’s Arnold Palmer. You’d be better off sucking up the calories of a hefeweizen if you wanted an adequate wheat beer.

Nice looking profile. Hazed golden straw body sporting a sizable, fluffy white head. Very watery and thin. Wheat malt is almost undetectable but as a bonus the rice is also subdued. Spice Is minimal. I was very thisty and this was more refreshing than the crappy iced tap water.
