Stopped into 7-Eleven just to pick up a big boy can of this 8% beast. Poured into a chalice. The pourís hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Looks like carbonated artificial lemonade. The nose is less appealing than Iíd hoped. Knackered grains and paper meets lemon-lime concentrate. Certainly a bit boozy too. The taste is pretty much what youíd expect. Sickly sweet margarita mix. Lemon soda. Crass and a bit rough on the finish. Slightly oily. Overall, this is high octane garbage.

(can - 8 oz) Pale gold color with a fizzy head. Aroma of lime and not much else. Tastes like youíre drinking a margarita mix from the bottle. Lime and alcohol and not much else.

Holy crap, how do they get away with calling this beer? at 8% you can taste the nasty fusel malt liquor through the fake lime flavoring. wretched and undrinkable.

Mini-can off the bar cart during our office golf tourney. Drank straight from the can, nearly ice cold. Didnít find this to be refreshing at all, sort of salty and stale margarita mix. Limey of course. I could do the strawberry one from time to time, but not this.

This is less crappy than BLís actual beers, but then again this is NOT beer. This is cheap-o margarita from a bad Mexican restaurant. That said, I prefer a bad marg to a BL any day, so I am forced to rate this non-beer as a bad marg...and I can hardly wait to try BL Sangria and rate that as a cheap wine-like non-beer. Mmmmm...

Mini can, enjoyed while packing up boxes for RS members I trustee for. Wow. this one really does taste/smell/drink like a margarita at one of those crappy Mexican restaurants that doesnít have a full liquor license. You know the ones that have a agave "wine" that is 13% that they just sneak by calling non-hard alcohol. This tastes like crappy margarita mix and that. Cheap, not horrible. Iíd probably drink this again if it was free at a summer gathering.

Can, 25oz. A hazy, pale yellow drink with more or less no head. It smells more or less like a Margarita made with a lousy tequila and too much lime. Not very alcoholic in the aroma, but itís lightly warming on the palate. Quite thin. Margarita with a touch of beer in the flavor, certainly not very plesant. Warming finish with a rather unpleasant flavor. Iím 100% positive this is the last time Iím drinking this. 130804
