2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
7/24/14. I guess Valdosta is ahead of the -Rita curve. The wife graciously brought home a small single can of this bad boy. First to rate! This luscious brew pours the exact color of apple juice except with a short lived off-white head that fades to nothing almost instantly. The aroma does in fact smell like apple juice and red apples, but with a fake aspect that makes me think of green Jolly Ranchers. There’s also a definite booziness in the aroma that distracts a bit. The flavor hits strong with red apple and apple juice but transitions mid-palate to a more familiar sweet, lightly tart, limey, Lime-a-Rita aspect so you don’t forget you’re drinking a supposed "apple margarita" - the most common of margarita variations, of course. Basically it’s on the sort of sweeter side of the -Rita line with a big dose of apple flavoring. It’s not as good as the Cranberry (what is, really?), but not nearly as bad as the horrendous Mango.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can at Coppertail Brewing during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of apples, green apple Jolly Rancher candy. Tastes of green apple Jolly Rancher candy, apples. Light body with a semi-dry finish.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Like all the other "Rita’s", this beverage is simple. The aroma and flavor are apple, sweet, little alcohol considering the ABV, the color is gold like cider. The finish is sweet. Ok overall. Drinkable, especially in summer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can courtesy of (who I can only assume) Blipp @ Max’s. Pours a light golden body with no head or lacing. Aroma is apple juice - literally. That’s it. Mouthfeel is carbonated juice. You know what, this isn’t bad and to be honest I prefer these ’rita series "beers" over hundreds of malted-out "IPAs." It is what it is.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can. Pours gold with a white head. Juicy apple notes, sugar, and lighter boozy notes, with very mild spicy notes. Really not that bad. It’s like a high boost apple cider with too much sugar.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very smooth with just a bit of lime. Not as good as some of the more refined (and expensive) ciders on the market, but a great value and easy drink.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can shared in Hoboken - huge thanks to Blipp. Pours perfectly clear apple juice gold with a few bubbles for a head. The nose is chock full of sugary apple, artificial fruit candies, medicine nod cough syrup. Huge sweet flavor with some ripe, rotten apples, more berries, faint alcohol. Medium bodied with fine, fizzy carbonation, sugary finish, somewhat cloying, with more rotten apples, fruit cocktail, punch. So so. Not as bad as you might expect.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can shared with the drain. Aroma of fake apple syrup, caramel, and slight lime juice. Pours syruppy golden with mild carb but no head. Taste is overconcetrated fake apple juice with hints of lime, caramel, and shitty lager. This does not even get the merit of being easy to drink since it is overbearingly sweet. Rough.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Ihg the distances I have traveled to search out a single of this. Bought at some gas station in a dumpy town 3500 miles from my domicile. Out of the can it has a strange plastic nose. Taste is sweet, jolly rancher green apple candy. Fizzy, cloying.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can @ home. Fuck yeah. Clear light amber pour with no head but some definite fizz. Smells like tart green apples, cider, and yeast. Fairly sugary. Wow, really sweet. But also a lot of cinnamon character. Sugary sweet cider, tart apple candies, and caramel. Weird.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
If you think this a going to be like a cider then you are wrong, it's overly sweet with no fizz and the apple flavor feels added. Bought a small can for a rate, it's what I expected
