7/24/14. I guess Valdosta is ahead of the -Rita curve. The wife graciously brought home a small single can of this bad boy. First to rate! This luscious brew pours the exact color of apple juice except with a short lived off-white head that fades to nothing almost instantly. The aroma does in fact smell like apple juice and red apples, but with a fake aspect that makes me think of green Jolly Ranchers. Thereís also a definite booziness in the aroma that distracts a bit. The flavor hits strong with red apple and apple juice but transitions mid-palate to a more familiar sweet, lightly tart, limey, Lime-a-Rita aspect so you donít forget youíre drinking a supposed "apple margarita" - the most common of margarita variations, of course. Basically itís on the sort of sweeter side of the -Rita line with a big dose of apple flavoring. Itís not as good as the Cranberry (what is, really?), but not nearly as bad as the horrendous Mango.

Can. Aroma is sweet apple juice. No head. Taste is moderately sweet with a candy flavor. A little chest burn. A tad hot. Meh.

I canít help but buy every variety of this stuff. Damnit. Apple juice pour with almost no head. Super sweet apple juicy/crap beer blend. Really sweet. More cloying than some others, maybe. Still I canít hate it.

Can. Pours a dirty golden with no head. Aroma of apples and malts. Tate pretty much the same.

Dirty pale gold pour with no head and a high effervescence that fades quickly to leave a still appearance. Aroma is apple jolly ranchers and booziness, a little spice and fusel spiciness. Flavor is loaded with greasy fusel notes throughout along with that Jolly Rancher artificial green apple flavor. Oily, syrupy feel throughout, light, but sharp carbonation. Really gross, kinda middle of the road as far as the Bud Light Lime bunch goes, which automatically makes it gross. Anybody who isnít manufacturing candy needs to lose what ever chemical it is that they flavor Green Apple Jolly Ranchers with. This application is really just offensive.

Way too sweet for me. It does have a nice apple flavor but it left me brutally hungover after just two of these.

Dark gold with no head. Looks like apple juice. Smell is, well, applejuice. You may have guessed it, the taste is also apple juice with a slight twist in it. Have not been a fan of apple juice since I was about 10 years old so nope this is not really doing it for me. So while it is not horrible itís far from great or interesting. Now just have to swallow down the other 20 ounces of this 25 ounce can and be done with this one forever.

Can: Cloudy apple juice color, a little darker perhaps with tons of carbonation bubbles throughout, but no solid head ever forms. Smells like tart apple Jolly Ranchers with a hint of alcohol. Taste is a little more boozy, has the margarita & limey twang that hands around in the aftertaste. Still tastes like apple Jolly Ranchers. Insanely sweet. Gave me a few cavities. This is one of the "better" ritas as far as flavor goes, but make sure you have a toothbrush nearby, because it is sickeningly sweet.

8oz can 9/3/14 (Jewel)-Pours a clear golden with no head. Aroma of apple and sweetness. Taste of apple, sweetness, and beer in the middle. This light bodied brew is ok but a bit too sweet.

From a tall can. Pours clear bright amber with no head. Tastes like booze, sugar, simple syrup, and apple candy. Super sweet and strong. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet sugar, super sweet candy, and a hint of booze and apple.

Can. Pours clear gold with a trace of fizzy head that quickly dissipates. Flavor is apple juice, green apples, and faint cereal malts. Flavor is dry malts, sharp pine, green apple, and faint toast. Medium body and carbonation.
