This neon orange drank smells like peach sno-cone syrup and mangos. Pretty sweet profile overall as the artificial mango flavors crescendo. A smooth drink start to finish.
While the other Ritas are basically awful, I actually like this one. Fuck the haters.

I made an account simply so I could leave a rating for this awful drink. I would give zero stars in Taste if I could. This is possibly the most disgusting beverage that has ever crossed the threshold of my lips and slid down my poor suffering throat. Not only is this nowhere near tasting like a beer, but it has the most frightfully horrid aftertaste imaginable. I warn you: do not partake of this disaster of a drink. If the overbearing syrupy sweetness does not get to you, the awful tangy tequila-like aftertaste will.

8 oz can I picked up for a buck at Discount Liquors in Watertown, SD. Cheap tick. Okay - letís call this my guilty pleasure. I love mango, and this has tons of it. Yeah, its artificial, but I donít care, it smells and tastes yummy. Iím rating this based on liking the beverage, not based on being a well-crafted beer. Pretty sweet, borderline cloying. Bright golden-orange color (which is also fake, but again, donít care). Could crush a few of these while hanging out in a hot tub or on a beach. That is all.

16 oz can to glass. Despite vigorous pour no head formed or lacing. The color looks like hi-ci brand orange drank, and I use that term currently because who knows what this actually is made of. Aroma of sweet candy I guess mango but also a lot of orange juice. Taste is like a candied orange slice you find in the cheap gas station candy isle. If you want an overly sweet orange and mango drink than this is for you, but thereís little to nothing beer related to this.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2014 big 24 oz can. how can this be light if its 8%? looks like orange pop. yes, has an orange or mango feel to it but it also tastes like the alky was just poured in. how can this be a beer when other malt beverages are not? weird criteria in this gray area of malt beverages. decent co2, above average for a fruit beer, but that alky background is so volatile. fruity yet difficult. burns a little going down. this is not beer, think mango laced orange soda laced with grain alcohol. yes, at first I thought it was not bad but as I get near the end, this is turning to the rude side. artificial all the way.

Free can from a friend who raves about this stuff.
I poured it into a pint glass.
The appearance was a light clear yellow color with a transparency about it and letting a fair amount of fast rising bubbles to be seen.
The smell definitely had the mangos but it came across overly sweet and sugary.
The taste was the same.
On the palate, this was pretty light but due to the overly sugary sweetness, I didnít find this too sessionable. There was an exceptionally long super sugary sweet aftertaste and finish.
Overall, not really my cup of tea. Thanks for the can, Matt.

Can. Clear orange pour with no head. Aroma of peach and tropical fruit juice. Peach and mango flavor with slight alcohol before a fruity finish.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Poured from a can into a beer mug. This has no semblance to beer at first look. It looks more like a carbonated orange soda. Virtually no head, it dissipates almost immediately. Appearance is a bright orange color. The taste was incredibly sweet, so sweet I had a hard time taking a second sip. I have had soda with less sugar in it! Aroma had an overpowering mango like sweetness. Palate was a very shallow consistency that was over the top sweet with very little positive sensations for the mouth.

Freebie Can from the new Brown Jug opening: Poured an orange soda pop color with a carbonated bubble head. Aroma is garbage juice mango. Taste is loads of mango with hints of lime juice and grain. Super sweet and sugary!

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Was $3 exactly for the 25 FL. OZ. can. Purchased in town. To small tumbler, it pours a champagne-bubbly web color orange. Aromas of crushed Smarties, Torani mango syrup, Band-Aids, clorinated water, granulated sugar, and wet dog fur. Tastes the same (save for the clorinated water and wet dog fur. Band-Aids could be detected) mashed apples, bubblegum, citric acid, and a hint of unripe lime. For a product that is knowingly terrible for you, it isnít half as bad as I thought itíd be. Certainly an insanely sweet beverage (managed to attract some fruit flies), but I donít totally hate this.
