8 oz can I picked up for a buck at Discount Liquors in Watertown, SD. Cheap tick. Rich purplish pour - kinda cool looking, but odd for a beer. Smells like a raspberry margarita - well, without the tequila smell, so maybe more like a raspberry fruit juice. Tastes like raspberry fruit juice. A stretch to call this a beer, but this has its place.

25 ounce can for two bucks. Hmm. Why? Well, tickers gotta tick I guess. Pours a pure purple color, no head really. A sugary sweet nose of fruity candy. Sweet tart I guess. The flavor has lots going on really, sweet powered fake berries, sugary margarita, a dirty nasty base that has to be Bud Light. Altogether this is nasty but it is drinkable.

Can. Dark red with no head. Aroma of raspberry juice and vodka. Raspberry vodka and raspberry flavor.

Poured from a 8oz. can into a beer mug. Has an interesting appearance, beer is purple in color, After the pour there is a small head on top. Aroma- there is a very strong odor of raspberry. Taste was surprising not bad, had a well balanced flavor that masked the rather high alcohol content. Does not resemble what most would consider a "beer". Not bad for what it is made to be or should I say it was better than expected.

Freebie Can from the new Brown Jug opening: Poured a murky maroon with tiny carbonated bubbles. Aroma is fruity raspberry. Taste is sugary raspberry mess with a carbonated alcohol tingle.

Can. Pours red/ pink with white head. Aroma is very intense, lots of berry, very sweet, fake sweetner. Taste is tart but yet very sweet, berries. this is sooooo gross. Going down the drain.

Pours a deep violet-red color with almost no head. Notes of sweet raspberry, backing lime, and artificial sweetener. Light-bodied, with a sweet mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Once again, delivers on its promise. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Part of their mixed pack, found on a trip in Maine. Pours a deep purple colour with a head that stays a little longer than the others. Sweet raspberry nose, but not as sweet as the others. Same for the taste. Not as syrupy. Probably the better one of these Rita fruit beers from Bud Light Lime.

25 ounce can. Thanks to friend with sense of humor. Pours purple with no head at all. Aroma of raspberry Jello/Kool-Aid. Taste is similar, but way too sweet. Think would be better on ice, but didn’t want to waste the time.

[ Can ][ 8oz ][ Stater Bros ][ $1 ][ Brewbies Taster ][ 7.23.14 ]
>> Pours clear inky purple with purple soda foam. No retention. Nose is blue raspberry popsicle. Taste is melted blue raspberry popsicle, big sugar, big jolly rancher. Palate has some acid but ultimately it is so sugary it is undrinkable.
