I can’t believe this is actually in the database and rateable. wow. I shouldn’t even rate it on principle but hey I drank it. tasted purple. sweet, fairly tart, margarita-lime flavors but with a ton of sweet candy fake raspberry. Kinda bad but I was in the mood for bad and finished the can. In the end, heavy, grainy, sweet, alcoholic. Fruity malt liquor.

Can. A- Raspberry, mixed berries. A- Purple color, dark liquid, minimal purple head. T- Raspberries, mixed berries, sweet, artifical. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, sweet finish. O- Could have been a lot worse, but still nothing other than a ’hey, I’m here to get drunk and I like fruity cocktail flavors’.

Bright pink, sticky looking with no head. Nose is bright (not Ribena quality fake sweetness) and inviting from the get-go. Initial taste is softly sweet, decent enough buzz before it paddles out too far for the maltiness. Finishes neatly sweet - good enough for me - swift ligner fades fast. Perhaps I should have had it over ice.

A few friends and I took in a recent Foo Fighters concert and were drinking up various 24 ounce cans of beers. Pabst Blue Ribbon, Miller High Life and Beck’s all went down fine on a humid summer’s night. Then much to my shock I’m handed a giant can of Lime Raz-Ber-Rita. I think my buddy got caught up in the selection and wanted us all to try something different. Different may not be the best way to describe this so called beer. Chemical raspberry flavor dominates this almost malt beverage. Maybe poured over ice would have been better than directly out of the can. I’ll stick with Pale Lagers when drinking out of giant cans at a rock concert.

Can 237ml @ Hotel room, Weber’s, Ann Arbor, MI
Pours slighlty hazy purple with a few pink bubbles. Aroma has notes of sugar and artificial raspberry. Taste is medium sweet with a long sugar sweet and raspberry candy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
