COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The beer based margarita is now introduced with strawberry flavoring. This is our take on the traditional margarita. Beer drinkers were already mixing Bud Light Lime into margaritas to create Ďbeer ritasí; Lime-a-Rita just adds a new level of convenience by providing a beverage with the perfect balance of flavors.

Can(s) at Jamesís 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours a mostly clear ruby with no head. Smells or raspberry and strawberry soda, touches of lime. Smells like a green Skittle plus a red Skittle. Tastes like soda, lime and artificial strawberries. Oddly not terrible. Comes off as a warm slurpee.

8 oz. can for $1 from Kroger. Pours a clear, bright, cartoonish pink color with no head. This one is the most artificial, and therefore worst, of the 5 Ritas. Strawberry candy, some lime, and not much else. Light-bodied, with a sweet, juicy mouthfeel. This is the one Iíd be least likely to have again.

8oz can, shared with jstax. Good god, this is the pinkest thing I have ever seen. Itís so unnaturally pink. Can reads "... and artificial colors." Not surprised at all. Itís so bright, it makes me nervous to drink this. Looks like it could illuminate a dark room, slightly. Geez, the smell... It smells like strawberry bubblegum. Tastes sugary sweet. Weíre calling this beer, really? This is a frankenstein bastardization of a beer. This offends me about as much as Lime-A-Rita did. Not awful, but what the hell is this? Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick finish. Fuck this shit. I dunno... Iíve had a few of these íRita things now... Sometimes, like with the Apple and Mango versions, Iím like wow, this is surprisingly OK... And other times, like with this and the Lime thing, Iím like "what the hell am I drinking???" Not sure if itís a variance of my mood or the beers, but either way, the whole series makes me uncomfortable, and I wouldnít call any of them "beers". Go to hell AB-InBev. I feel dirty drinking this stuff. Even for science..

24 oz can. Slightly hazy reddish pink pour with no head. Big time stretch to call this beer, but as a fruity flavored beverage, Iíve had worse. Lots of lime, some strawberry, no real beer taste to this, but whatever. Itís not what they were going for.

Pour out of can, clear pink pour with dissipating pink head, aroma is salt, strawberry juice, margarita mix, and lemon. Taste is the same, lemon, margarita, orange, strawberry juice, finishing sickly sweet. Yeah, it is what it is.

Pounded straight from the 24 oz can like an adult. Sweet sugar, citrus, and strawberry candy. More sugar, close to cloying, with a finishing sweetness that lingers on the lips. Sweet candy drunk drink.

3/18/13. 16oz can. This beauty pours a magnificent ruby red like the bottom ray of the most gorgeous sunset on the beach in Hawaii. The pillowy pink head lingers like luxurious bubble bath on the tip of a ladyís finger drawing you in. The fresh aroma is vine ripened strawberries cut with fresh squeezed lime and a dash of ruffled lime leaves mixed with fresh Jamaican cane sugar and a dash of fine Florida orange zest. The flavor bursts across the tongue with tart strawberries dipped in fine lime-infused raw sugar delicately toasted under a torch. Just kidding. Red #40, artificial strawberry and lime, too sweet, boozy, overcarbonated. Eh.

Canned, from the Lise, red fruit punch color, tastes like it looks, albeit a little thin and watery, fruity finish

baby can .. mostly strawberry and bad decisions .. you want drunk, get this .. . . I also own a $300 alarm clock that has a "Just A Soupcon Extra Of Shuteye Darling!" button instead of the standard, guttural SNOOZE button.
